Message boots.
After 3 seasons on the track, my front dust boots have disintegrated.

also, time to replace friction surface on my front rotors, I won't show detailed instructions on aero rotor install as the stoptech website has excellent instructions

first step after removing calipers is to remove pistons,
Use compressed air to Slowly force the pistons out. You want them to all be force out as much as possible before the seal is broken on the compressed air.
One the compressed air leaks around one pressure seal, you will have to remove the pistons with protected plires.
Place pieces of wood to prevent pistons from being forced out too far, which prevents air pressure seal loss

alternate pressurizing the inboard and outboard bleed screws on the calipers

Here, the air pressure seal has been broken so the remaining 3 pistons will not be forced out by the air, time for plires

All pistons removed, time to remove pressure seals and clean everything with brake parts cleaner

The pressure seals have a square cross section and sit in a recessed grove in the caliper. Use a pick to carefully remove the pressure seals

After cleaning calipers and pistons with brake parts cleaner, time for reassembly. Best to use brake assembly lube to lube the pressure seals

The dust boots go onto the pistons without assembly lube

Install pistons into caliper, take care not to disturb the pressure seals, no need for c-clamp just use your hands

Ensure the pistons are fully inserted to allow proper seating of the dust boot. Current dust boots are supposed to be superior to old style boots- improved longevity

Ready for a busy season on the track

Bleed the brakes. Be sure to follow brake bed-in procedure exactly per the stoptech website.
